Obituary of Shirley Lorene Jones

Shirley Lorene Dealy Jones was born on April 3, 1939 to Wilda Mary Chaffins and Robert Merl Dealy.  She was born in Emmett, Idaho. They moved around a lot. They lived in Northern Idaho and Oregon.

Shirley attended so many schools during her 8 years of education. 

Shirley met Kester Eugene “Gene” Jones.   They were married on June 16, 1956. They had a daughter Selina Eugenia Jones on December 6, 1959.

They moved back to the Boise area around 1960.  They lived on Grimmes Creek and in Idaho City while Gene worked for Guy Harris Lumber.

In 1970, they moved to Peck Idaho, but moved back to Boise in January 1971. They lived with Shirley’s brother Max for a while. Then her sister Judy until they found a house.

Gene was unable to work from 1969 to 1972 when he passed away.

Shirley married Gilbert Edward Skow on April 3, 1972.  They divorced later that summer.

Shirley was pregnant at the time of their divorce and had a son Gene Allen Jones on March 14, 1973.

Shirley met Elsworth “Al” Frances Loveland. He moved in with Shirley and Selina in August 1972 and moved out in January 1973, and then back in with them in June 1973 and again back out in September 1973. She was pregnant again and had a son Allen Merl Jones February 27, 1974.

She had 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was send oldest of 17 children.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and 2 sisters.  Survivors include her siblings: Orvill Dean Dealy, Mary Ann Dealy Armfield, Losi Faye Dealy Wood, Carol Joyce Dealy (Larry) Steele, Judith Elaine Dealy Brier, Kenneth Lee Dealy, Ronald Merl Dealy, Thomas Gerald Dealy, and Jenine Marie Dealy Finch; children: Selina Euginia Jones Carter (Ronnie Fenstermalser), Gene Allen Jones, Allen Merl (Teena) Jones; 21 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephew (some of whom preceded her in death).

She lived in Weiser and passed on January 22, 2024.
