Obituary of Dianna Carol Smith
Dianna Carol Smith was born on March 28th 1946 to Harold John Frades and Virgie Irene Nuding in Fairbury,
Nebraska. She was the 2nd child of 4.
Harold and Virgie moved there family to Stockton, California when Dianna was 5. While growing up there
she woud pray that God would send her someone to love. God heard her plea and sent her Ed to the church
she was attending and a romance started that would last for over 51 years until his passing in 2016. To that union they had 4 children.
Ed and Dianna moved there family to Idaho in 1974. Dianna was a stay at home mom and took care of her
4 kids and babysat for family and friends. When the family moved to New York in 1987 Dianna got her 1st job
out of the house. She cleaned rooms at Roadway Motor Plaza in Maybrook, New York. She worked there until
she and Ed moved back to Idaho. At that time Dianna started working for a nursing home in the laundry.
Ed and Dianna attended the First Assembly of God on Chicago st. in Caldwell and later the Domes that her husband Ed helped build. Dianna was always there to help mend and iron the costumes for the programs.
Family meant alot to her she was always there to take care of grandkids, nieces and nephews.
On March 9th 2024 at the age of 77 Dianna went home to be with the love of her life Ed Dianna was Preceded in Death by her Parents Harold and Virgie Frades, Brother Harold William (Billy) Frades, Her Husband Edward Lee, Son Larry Lee Smith.
Dianna is Servied by her children Edward Lee Jr., Harold John, and Daughter Leisa Diane Smith.
Nine grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren. Two Sisters Karen Castle-Chacon, Cheryl Frades-Elkins, and many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
I would like to give a BIG Thank You to the team at Auburn Crest Hospice, and Home Option Personal Care for going above and and beyond for my mom. They were a God send when I didn't know were to turn. And a big thank you to Lee for getting up every moring to make her breakfast, and help me take care of my mom, Dakota
for acting well beyond his confort zone to help his grandma without complaint I was so inpressed. Lyric was always helpful when I needed somthing, and my step son Jake he helped us get her moved to my house and the
trip to the store for us when we couldn't get out and bring us dinner you were loved. Thank You to all that
helped I love you all.
