Obituary of Joann Collins

  Thelma Joann Collins, 78, of Caldwell passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 16, 2024.  Joann was born on March 23, 1945, in Bakerfield, California to Bessie and George Seiber.  Joann met and fell in love with Therman Collins Sr, whom she later married on July 24, 1966.  Joann was blessed with 4 girls and 1 boy and looked at Therman’s children as her own. They settled in Notus, Idaho to raise their family.

  Joann enjoyed various things such as hunting, camping, fishing, bingo and hitting the road to Jackpot with the family.

  She is survived by her husband Therman Collins Sr of Sand Hollow, ID; Stan & Marsha Collins of Thornfield, Missouri; Stevie & Hoada Collins of Mansfield, Missouri; Barb & Jerry Rudolph of Caldwell, Idaho; James and Kathleen Collins, Delorma Reems, and Amanda and Robert Dempsey all of Sand Hollow Idaho. She is also survived by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters, 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  As well as the apple of her eye ‘Shane Robert Trionfo’.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents George and Bessie Seiber, brothers Koy, Frankie, Paul and sister Sarah May, her daughter Mary Johnson and her grandson Jeramiah Collins.

Joann touched the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed by all. 

  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.  Interment will follow at Roswell Cemetery in Roswell, Idaho.
