Obituary of Darrell Wayne Jackson

Darrell Wayne Jackson was born August 11, 1949 to James and Katherine Jackson in Weiser, Idaho.  He attended Weiser schools and graduated from Weiser High School in 1969.  He proudly served in the US Army from 1969 until 1972 serving in Vietnam during that time.  After returning home he met and married Patti Dominice Tudor on August 18, 1972. 

He was employed by the city (Public Works) for many years and was notably a Wilder Rural Fire Protection District Fire Commissioner for over 20 years, as well as currently serving as a Wilder City Councilman. 

He found joy in his Christmas lights display and being involved in his community.

Darrell loved his family and spending time with them, especially going on vacations.  Some of his favorite vacations were to Missouri with his sister and Washington DC with his son and family.

Darrell is survived by his wife Patti, daughter Katrinka (Richard) Aman, son James (Wendy) Jackson, grandsons Tanner, Tyler, and Caleb, brother Paul (Loree) Jackson, sister Karen (Jeff) Moore.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at Idaho State Veterans' Cemetery in Boise.
