Obituary of Theresa Ann Di Mauro

Theresa Ann Di Mauro, a resilient and extraordinary woman, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, at the age of 56. Born on May 8, 1967, Theresa leaves behind a legacy defined by strength, determination, and unwavering love. She is survived by her two cherished children, Andrew and Nicole.

A graduate of Glendora High School, Class of 1985, Theresa embarked on the remarkable journey of single motherhood. Faced with the challenges of raising two children on her own, she demonstrated unparalleled resilience, working  in a variety of occupations and even at certain points worked tirelessly at two jobs simultaneously to ensure that Andrew and Nicole had the opportunities they deserved.

In 2004, Theresa found her true calling as a crane operator, a role in which she excelled. Her dedication and commitment were recognized when she landed on the Dean's List during her time as an apprentice in the union and is a testament to her unwavering work ethic. Unfortunately, her career was cut short due to an injury sustained while working which lead to an early retirement. However, even in the face of adversity, Theresa continued to radiate kindness, generosity, and hope.

Theresa was a beacon of strength, embodying the belief that she could conquer any challenge set before her, and known for a unique style that many admired her for. Her loss will be felt profoundly by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her grandparents and those who awaited her with open arms.

Theresa's impact extends far beyond her professional achievements. Her kindness, generosity, and hopeful spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was a loving mother, a dedicated professional, and a friend who inspired those around her to reach for their dreams.
