My name is Becky Wintrode, John and Sue Fly’s daughter. My family sends the Bastian family our love and hopes, that your sweet memories will give you peace and comfort in the loss of dear Merrill. He and Darlene were very kind friends to my parents and we had many fun conversations through the years when they stopped by my parents place on Middleton Rd. to chat. My husband and I always enjoyed a friendly welcome and visit with Merrill/Darlene when we visited my parents Caldwell ward. It is so difficult to see another valiant servant leave this earth but our lives have been blessed by knowing Merrill and Darlene. I’m sure my mother welcomed Merrill on the other side with open arms and a spirited conversation❤️ Until we meet again….
