Obituary of Wayne Eugene Stephens

  Wayne Stephens, of Middleton, Idaho passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 82.  Wayne was born on June 18, 1940 and lived nearly the entirety of his life here in the Treasure Valley with his wife Julia of 61 years.  Wayne is known by many as a very generous, personable, caring, and lively man who never knew a stranger.  If the music was on, he was dancing.  If there was a new adventure to be had, he was involved.  Wayne loved the outdoors, rafting, traveling, the fine arts, and his dog by his side.  Wayne had his hand in many things throughout his life, including farming, real estate, getting his private pilot license, owning/running a ranch in Canada, being a landlord as well as a developer, all while working his lifetime career on the Railroad.  One of Wayne's greatest accomplishments was to live out his lifelong dream of owning and running Silver Creek Plunge.  Wayne loved sharing Silver Creek with everyone which brought him much joy and happiness.  You will be truly missed by many who knew and loved you throughout your life.  Rest well Pops.
