Obituary of Montserrat Velazquez-Escudero

Montserrat Velazquez-Escudero, 47, of Caldwell, Idaho died Monday, December 26, 2022 at St. Lukes Hospital, Boise with her parents by her side.  
Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.  A viewing will be held at 9 am with the service to follow at 10 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel. The burial will follow after the service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho.
Montserrat was born on August 24, 1975 in Mexico City, Mexico.  Her parents are Jose J. Velazquez and Veronica Escudero.
She lived the majority of her life in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as Boston, MA and Pennsylvania.
In 2012 the family moved back from Pennsylvania to Arizona with a final destination to Caldwell, Id in 2017.
Montserrat was an active admirer of the arts while enjoying reading, woodburning, drawing and hiking.  
She was dedicated to Jesus and she enjoyed doing social work with children (i.e. Peru missions trip).
Her dedication to her work at Target was truly an act of love and caring when it pertained to her peers and customers.
