Obituary of Judith Anne Carrell

Judith (Judy) Anne Carrell 76, of Nampa, is now resting in peace with her heavenly father. Judy passed away at her home, with her son by her side.  She was born in Long Beach California to Arthur and Esther Scott and moved to Idaho as an infant.  She graduated from Caldwell High school and later married Michael Carrell.  They moved to Nampa where they raised their son.

Judy was a member of the Midway Bible Missionary Church for over 40 years.  Judy was known as the candy lady at church, as she always had candy to share with the kids.  She worked for the Nampa school district and loved seeing those kids again in the years that followed. Judy enjoyed making greeting cards, almost as much as her friends and family enjoyed receiving them. Judy was kind and loving towards all who knew her. She had a bright personality and was a joy to be around. Judy’s loving personality brought her many wonderful friends, who will miss her greatly.

Judy is survived by her son Todd and wife Shannon, grandson Jacob and wife Drew, Sister Mary and husband Frank Korn.  Several sister and brother in laws, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, Mike, and brother Mike Scott.

We know that she is in heaven looking down on us and if we listen, she is praying for us.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations, be made to the Midway Bible Missionary Church, 3200 E Ustick Rd. Caldwell, ID 83605.

Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Midway Bible Missionary Church, 3200 E Ustick Rd. Caldwell, ID 83605.  There will be a dinner following the service and all in attendance are invited.
