Obituary of Howard Larry White

  Howard Larry White was born on March 11, 1948 to Marie and Howard Charles White.  Howard grew up in Nampa, Idaho.  He loved to hunt and fish – Howard loved being outdoors.

  Howard enlisted with the army at the age of 17 and went to Vietnam willingly to serve our country.  He was the oldest of three siblings.  Howard is survived by his daughter Tricia Ros White; a sister and brother-in-law Donna (Kurt) Voight; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Peggy White.  Howard is also survived by a lot of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins.

  Howard was a great man. He had a lot of family and friends. He would light up the room when he entered it. He loved to do anything for anybody. Howard is a true hero.

  Howard passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022 at the age of 74.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 30+ years Christine White; his son Tod Larry White and many other family members. Howard will be dearly missed by everyone who got to know him. 

  A memorial service and military honors will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Idaho State Veterans’ Cemetery in Boise.  Condolences can be given and memories shared at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
