Obituary of Anne Margaret Phillips

Anne Margret Phillips was born in Seattle, Washington on May 2, 1963, and adopted by George and Phyllis Lee shortly thereafter. She passed away in her home in Caldwell, Idaho on October 20, 2022, from a heart attack.

Anne was raised on her parents’ farm in Maltby, Washington – often helping with milking the cows or growing vegetables in the garden. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1981. Shortly after graduating from high school she would meet the love of her life – Steve – and in September of 1982 they were married. Anne would go on to have a long career helping others in need as a certified nursing assistant – dealing with some of our most vulnerable populations. Her compassion and unwavering commitment to helping those around her was felt by many families over the years. From hospice care to assisted living facilities, Anne was there in their time of need – providing families comfort that their loved ones were being taken care of.

A book can be written about Anne’s love for her husband Steve. They were married for over 40 years at the time of her death – and to that day they were an inseparable couple. And while he will miss her dearly, he seeks comfort in knowing just how much love her family and friends had for her and the outpouring of that love she felt when she was with us. And Anne showed equal love – especially for her nine grandchildren and dogs. No grandchild was too spoiled, and no dog would go without extra love and treats. She was a special lady that will never be replaced – someone that will be remembered forever and missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Phyllis. She is survived by her husband, Steve; sons, Craig, Steven (Jenny), Andrew (Cortney), and Jacob; and grandchildren, Kaylee, Audree, Cash, Colton, Teagen, Mackenzie, Alexa, Brayden, Conner, and Sophie; and brother Michael.
