Obituary of Jodnita Blalock Rea

Jodnita (Jodi) Blalock-Rea passed away peacefully July 1, 2022 at Cascadia of Nampa. Jodi was born on Dec 20, 1957. She was 65 years old. Jodi was raised in Miami, Florida. Her parents adopted a cousin, Joseph, when Jodi was 8 years old so she acquired a brother for life. Jodi married and had 3 sons: Joseph, Christopher and Robert Seitz. Jodi lived in Idaho for the past 25 years.

 

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Charlotte, when she was very young. Jodi is survived by her brother Joseph, her boyfriend, Ricky Corbett, her sons, Joseph, Christopher, and Robert, her grandchildren Dale and Lillian Seitz, and 4 other grandchildren, her aunt, Ginger Hathaway, her uncle and aunt, David and America Blalock, her cousin Deborah Blalock and many more great cousins and awesome friends.

Jodnita’s heart and mind are mended now as only Christ can mend them; her spirit saved. Goodbye for now ‘knuclehead’. Love you and missing you. Your bro, Joe.

 

There will be a memorial service officiated by Jodi’s pastor, Rev. Mark Bridgewater on Sunday, July 17, at 1:30p.m., at Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn and Suites, 908 Specht Ave, Caldwell, ID, 83605, where her church meets in the reception hall just to the right of the main entrance. Hotel is just beyond the overpass at the Franklin Road Caldwell Interchange.

 

Note: The Caldwell Franklin Exit 29 is closed in both directions due to highway construction. The westbound off-ramp and the eastbound on-ramp are closed. Also I84 is reduced to 2 lanes with barriers in both directions between Nampa and Caldwell. Please avoid I84 if at all possible and drive safe.
