Obituary of Gene Baxter

Gene Baxter, 91, of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away on June 19, 2022 from a heart attack. Gene spent the first fourteen years of his life in Parma, Idaho. Then went on to graduate Adrien High School where he met his childhood sweetheart and future wife, Phyllis Curtis. Gene then joined the US Air Force and married Phyllis. He worked for Wally Stiner and went on to Garber Motors as a body and fender man and in his spare time he rebuilt 28 totaled cars. He found his true passion as a broker for Waddell and Reed and then proceeded to open Interpacific Investors renamed Continental Investors from whom he retired. In his time away from work he enjoyed flying airplanes, gardening and spending time with his loved ones. Gene was a loving father of Charrie, Kim, Allison, loving grandfather of Jason, Jeff, Zane, Tiama and loving great grandfather of Tylan, Kaden, Braden and Alexander. A viewing will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell of Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm. Interment will take place later at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
