Obituary of Kathy Reutzel

Kathaleen “Kathy” Horn Reutzel, 99, of Boise, passed away on April 2nd, 2022. Graveside services, will be held at the Wilder Cemetery on Monday, April 11th at 1:00 p.m. A Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 10th between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell.

Kathy was born February 20, 1923, at Parma, ID, the youngest daughter of O. C. and Mary Cooksey Horn. She attended school in Wilder and Homedale, graduating in 1942. She married Al Reutzel on August 26, 1964. She was an amazing mother who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons: Steve (Craig) Titus, Gary (Chris) Titus; step son-in-law, Dick Nixon; five step-granddaughters:  Tami Lyon,  Pamela Landon, Raylene Beymer, Cheryl Rowley, and Rachel Holt; a niece, Debra Dempsey, a nephew, Terry (Sheila) Horn, and several great-nephews and nieces; and her dear friend Tracy Hinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Courtland "Slim", A. V. "Slivers", Walter "Dub", Ray and Stanley Horn; sisters, Beatrice “Bea”, Eula Flood and Mary Jorenby; and a step-daughter, Rae Nixon.
