Obituary of Velva Maedean Simpson

Velva M. Norris Simpson was born in Zena, Oklahoma on December 18, 1931. She moved to Idaho with her parents as a young girl. She attended Wilder High School and married Bill J. Simpson May 29,1952. They would have been married 70 years in May of this year. Before she stayed home to raise her kids she used to work tying flies at the Fish Fly in Caldwell. She thought the world of her grandchildren and great grandchildren who will deeply miss her. She made many memories at the cabin in Cascade riding her snowmobile and picking huckleberries. She enjoyed bowling with her daughter Stephanie, but mostly she enjoyed being at home with all of her family. It was only 52 days after the love of her life, her husband Bill passed that she went to join him on March 1, 2022.
