Clarence Johnson

Obituary of Clarence Lincoln Johnson

  Born July 1, 1920 in Wiley, Colorado to Jacob and Lydia Johnson. He came to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1930. 

  In 1939 he married Velma E. Morgan.  They had three children, Eleanor, Wayne and Judith.  Clarence farmed and worked in the oil fields in Colorado.  He came to Idaho in 1958 and worked for Producers Livestock as a livestock order buyer.  In 1961, he bought a feedlot in Wilder, Idaho, Johnson Cattle Co Inc. 
  He was preceded in death by his parents: 2 brothers, Raymond and Ben; 2 sisters, Hannah and Ruby; his wife Velma and daughters, infant Eleanor Marie, and Judith Rose; 2 grandsons, Adam Rose and Steven Johnson; and great-great-granddaughter Xandra Johnson. 

  He is survived by his son Wayne (Vickie) Johnson; son-in-law John Rose; 4 grandchildren, Tammy Johnson, Mike Johnson, Traci Johnson and Kathy Rose; 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

  Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at Marsing Homedale Cemetery in Marsing, Idaho. 

  A memorial Celebration of Life will be held on July 1, 2022 at Mallard Park at the corner of 10th Avenue and Orchard Road just south of Caldwell, Idaho.
