Obituary of Virginia Lou Gronberg

Virginia was born in Sioux City, Iowa August 3, 1938, then grew up in Whittier, CA. She married and raised her children Debbie Piper, Christine Taylor and Robert Gronberg in Orange Co, CA. During those years she was involved in bowling leagues, loved gatherings with friends and neighbors in the backyard pool, traveling with friends, hunting for the perfect yard sale treasure, and her beloved gardening! Boy, she had a way with plants!

In 2006, she moved to Caldwell Idaho with her long time love, John. At the same time, her daughter Christine moved too. Soon thereafter, Robert joined everyone in Idaho.

Her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grands adored her! Sadly, she didn’t get to see the 4th, newest, great grandson born this week.

As teens, the grands in Idaho loved to spend time in her backyard with their friends playing sports, practicing cheer and having fun. Grandma joined in the fun quite often!

Weekends were often spent at Tiny’s in Nampa, gathering with friends for fun, laughter, music, and dancing. What a great time was had!

Virginia was always full of life and had a ready smile for all. She is always going to be missed by everyone. She was so very loved.
