Obituary of Iva Rose Oswald Pennington

Iva Rose, of Boise, Idaho, passed away at home on January 15, 2022. She was born January 10, 1929, in Rigby, Idaho to her parents James Milo Andrus and Florence Crystal Andrus. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Vonda Tinker, Rayola Miller, James Lloyd Andrus, and Alvin Roy Andrus, her spouse and son, Leo Howard Oswald and William Howard Oswald, and granddaughter Nicole Adele Misseldine. Iva is also preceded in death by her second spouse, William Edgil Pennington. Her surviving children are Leota Rose (Idaho), Kerry Malcolm (Colorado), Lavonna Smith (Idaho), James Oswald (Ohio), Lila Houdek (Idaho), G. Dean Oswald (Oregon), Betty Davis (Idaho) and Lyle Oswald (Washington).

Iva leaves behind a legacy of fierce strength, hard work, and unfailing devotion in the hearts and memories of her 8 surviving children and their spouses, 27 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, and her loving family wishes her a joyous reunion with her family in Heaven.

A graveside funeral service to celebrate Iva's life is scheduled for January 25, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at the Middleton Cemetery, 23660 Cemetery Road, Middleton, ID, 83644.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory of Caldwell, Idaho.
