Obituary of Carmen Usabel Subia

  Carmen Usabel Subia was born in Boise, Idaho on April 24, 1936  to Nick and Mary Luque Usabel.  She spent her early years in Marsing or Boise, Idaho and graduated from Marsing High School in 1954, and from Boise Business School in 1955. She married Rudy Subia on September 2, 1956 at St. John’s Cathedral in Boise, Idaho.  Carmen worked for the Idaho Department of Reclamation in Boise and the Latah County Extension Agents while her husband Rudy attended the University of Idaho in Moscow. Carmen dedicated her life to her family during moves from Idaho, Montana, Virginia (Washington D.C.), California, and Nevada. She is survived by her husband Rudy, son Nicasio, brother Roman Usabel and numerous other relatives and friends.

  A viewing for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell; Rosary Recital will begin at 7:00 pm.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday at Our Lady of the Valley in Caldwell with interment following at Marsing Homedale Cemetery.
