Obituary of Zyra Alexis Zamora

  Zyra Alexis Zamora passed away on September 23, 2021 at St Luke’s Regional Hospital in Boise, Idaho. Zyra was born at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho on December 8, 1995. She was born to Sonya Zamora and Mario Martinez and was second-eldest of their four children. Zyra attended school in Vallivue District from K-12; she graduated from Vallivue High School in 2014 where she lettered in orchestra and left her long-time community group called T.E.E.N.S as president.

  Zyra went on to pursue higher education in Dental Assisting at Eagle Gate College in Layton, Utah where she graduated with honors in 2017. She then, went on to pursue her new-found passion in nail design at Paul Mitchell Boise where she graduated in March of 2021. About a month later, she started her dream career at Issa Nail Bar in Nampa, Idaho.  Zyra is survived by her mother Sonya Zamora, her father Mario Martinez, her two sisters Amari Martinez and Alex Martinez, and her older brother Andre Zamora.

  A celebration of life will be held on October 15, 2021. The viewing will be from 1-3pm and memorial services will start at 3pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell, Idaho.
