Edelmira Pesina

Obituary of Edelmira D. Pesina

Edelmira D. Pesina, 80, of Caldwell, died Monday, September 20, 2021 at a local hospital.  She was born to Julian and Angelina de Hoyes Pesina on April 2, 1941 in Jimenes, Mexico.  Edelmira worked as a supervisor at Simplot for 35 years, and she loved her work there.  She loved to listen and dance to tejanio music and loved to be where her family was.  She loved BBQs and going to Jackpot with family and friends.  She also couldn’t be without her scratch tickets; everyone knew when they saw Tia walking that she had won.  She loved all of her nieces & nephews and was always around them.

Tia lived in Caldwell, Idaho most of her life, but wanted to try something new and moved to Eagle Pass, Texas with her sister for a few years then she came back to Idaho. Edelmira moved in with her nephew Ervey Jr and his family, and they enjoyed every minute they had with her; her niece Ida became her primary caregiver to which she said it was the best time she had with her.  She is always in her heart and a piece will be missed.

Tia is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Roberto and Raul Pesina, a sister-in-law Lupe Pesina, a niece Maria Pesina, and a nephew Julian Pesina Jr.  She is survived by her brothers Rogelio Pesina, Ervey (Irma) Pesina; sister Alicia (Gilberto) Ramos; nephews Israel (Andrea) Pesina, Ismael Pesina, Eric (Jamie) Pesina, Ervey (Ida) Pesina; nieces Alexia Agustin (JoAnna) Payten KiAna (Victor) Joseph Angelina, Zenia Tessa, Aleena Rayven (my baby – Tia would call her.)  She Edelmira always said that all she wanted is to see her sons aka nephews happy because that made her happy.

Tia you will be missed by your family just know we love you. And Rayven wanted to tell you your team Blue will always win.  Always & Forever in our hearts.
