Stan Siegmann

Obituary of Stan Siegmann

Stan Siegmann, age 80, passed away on August 8, 2021 at home due to a long battle against Leukemia.

Stan was the first of four children born to Elwood and Nellie Siegmann.  Growing up in Caldwell he enjoyed athletics and all kinds of physical activities.  Shortly after graduating from Caldwell High School in 1959, he joined the Marine Corps, serving for four years.

Following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, Stan proudly served 29 years as a Caldwell city police officer. His passion in life was to serve and protect the community he loved. After retiring from the force in 1993, Stan spent another 30 years working for CanAda security.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Shirley, and his cherished granddaughter Michele and sister Nola.  He is survived by his sisters Gay Burger (Dutch), Joy (Dennis) Campbell and his children Laura (Todd) Quick, Steve (Kathy) Siegmann, Craig Siegmann, Buff Siegmann, and Stasia Siegmann along with 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Chawla and all the staff of the Caldwell Cancer Institute for their wonderful care of our father.

Dad was a friendly and optimistic man who made many friends and acquaintances through the years, and all are welcome for a celebration of Stan’s life to be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Caldwell Memorial Park band shell located at 619 Irving St.
