“Heaven got a beautiful angel…

We all got the phone call last night saying you had passed away – the phone call we were all expecting, but didn’t want to hear.

We are happy you’re no longer in pain, but we are in pain knowing you’re no longer with us. We are all gonna miss seeing your face, hearing your laugh, hearing your dumb jokes and smart ass comments.

Reality has yet to set in, that you are truly gone... cries have yet to come for the amount of love that people had for you. We were all truly blessed to have called you Dad, Grandpa, Brother…

We truly love you and will always miss you.

Forever in our hearts, Grandpa. Rest in peace.”

Bob’s grandson, Michael, shared a photo of the first buck he ever shot on a hunting trip with his grandpa and said, “I will never forget the times we had going with him to hunt or fish or just to go pick up some cans lol. I will miss doing those things with him—I just wish we could have gone just one more time…”

Bob’s niece, Missy, had the best comment of the day when she said that Bob is up in heaven now, in that diner in the sky with his brother, Jim, enjoying all the free coffee they could want, reminiscing about the good old days, and laughing at us.
