Well I thought I had already shared this memory, but when Tasha and I look for it it's no longer on here, maybe I shared it on a different site. So would like to share it again, because it's one of my favorite memories with her. From the outside looking in it wouldn't look like it was fun, but I guess you had to know her to get her. Most of my friends were afraid of her when I was younger because she always said it exactly how she saw it, no matter how it looked or sounded. That's one of the things I loved best about her, she wasn't afraid of anything or anyone, and you can tell, LOL.
Anyway, one of my most favorite memories with her with her was when I was about 9 years old. She told me we were going to go party and she told my grandma that she was taking me to see the movie Jaws. Then she dressed me up in some of her clothes, hair sprayed the crap out of my hair real big, and put a shitload of shiny makeup on my face, and it was left in her car. She then told me we were going on the Boise Cruise. Which was where are you made 4 left turns all night long in downtown Boise. And just before we got there she told me to sit on my knees so I looked older oh, so I did. It was so funny because there was a teenage boy driving a big tall muddy truck and he kept looking down at me is smiling and nodding his head. And I remember her saying, look he likes you. I remember thinking, how do I know that guy, he doesn't look familiar and I don't remember meeting him. Because when she said he likes me I assumed it was because he knew who I was, cuz clearly I was still too young to flirt or to even get it at all. Anyway we just cruise for several hours and yelled out our windows at people we didn't know who acted like they knew us. Anyway, it was fun or at least funny and then we went back to Grandma zechmann's house. When we got there, grandma said, come here Manon, did you like the movie what was it about? I instantly didn't know what to say and I'm sure Anne could tell because she jumped in with, it's about a scary f****** shark, like you don't know what Jaws is about, everybody knows what the f*** Jaws is about, give me a break. Which thank God, cuz when I was 9 I hadn't yet perfected the art of bulshitting grandmas. LOL. Then she said come on let's go to bed you sleep with me tonight if you don't interrogate you. So then we went back to her room to go to bed, I remember she was playing a record of John Cougar Mellencamp and she was talking about how sexy he was because on the cover of the record or the picture of his face all full of short whiskers. I remember thinking when I do like boys they won't look like that, he looks Harry and dirty. LOL. Then she told me get up in bed so we can get some sleep, we were going to get up at a decent time so that I could be the judge of who sings The Warrior better, her or Gina, and it better be her or she was going to hit the fan. LMAO. So I climbed up in bed with her and laid down and was almost asleep when she added, and don't be getting your shiny
****** makeup all over my brand-new pillows either I just got them.....but what she meant and what I heard was , i had fun ronite, thanx for going, I had a blast, you did a good job.....it was so worth the fun
