Mr. Nuxoll was a great teacher and coach. He cared about what he did and it showed. I had him as a teacher and coach in jr high and high school. I was shocked to see him coming out of the school while my children have attended the high school too he was there subbing after all those years teaching and retiring he still had a heart that cared about CHS, that is awesome. Blessings and prayers are being said for all those of you who knew and are missing him. Do something kind for a stranger expecting nothing in return in his memory.

Thank you Ron for always being there for me when I didn't understand. Math did not come easy for me, & I was very thankful to know you were there when I needed the extra help. You were always so funny and kind and will be greatly missed.
My condolences to Ron's family during this very sad time.

I first met Ron in the fall of 1977 when I moved onto A3 at Chaffee Hall on the campus of BSU, Ron was across the hall from me and was my first RA. A job I would hold a couple of years later in B Wing. I am a North Idaho boy myself and by the time I had graduated from college and made the trip back and forth from Boise to Kellogg over five years I could say the names of fellow Broncos I had met in each little town along the way. Ron was the first of the Nuxoll clan to introduce me to "Where's Greencreek?" The description of Ron in the obituary is perfect. I can see the smile and hear the laugh to this day. After getting to know Ron at BSU, I too went into education in the Treasure Valley and over the years ran into Ron several times a year. Each time it was like meeting an old friend, the engaging guy who lived across the hall from me at Chaffee. Ron and I were at opposing schools, but we were always on the same team, being on the side of students, athletes, and fans. I always enjoyed swinging by the scorer's table at State Tournaments and reconnecting with my old friend. I am saddened to realize that he is gone, but grateful for the impact he had on my life. Thanks Ron, thank you to the Nuxoll family. Kevin Roberts.

I absolutely loved Mr. Nuxoll. I loved math already and he made it better. He was fun, and silly. I remember he'd toss his markers up and catch it, then say, "Nice throw," then turn like he was answering someone and say, "Thank you!" He was always amazing.

To Nuxoll
It was Mr. Nuxoll, or Coach from 1984 to 1988 during my years at Jefferson Jr. High and CHS. After that is was just Nuxoll. You were never my wrestling coach, but we wrestled once and you won. No matter how many times I asked for a rematch you left it as you were, a winner, a champion.
This world has lost a great man, while heaven has gained a great angel. God's speed Nuxoll.
To Ron Nuxoll's family
I pray that the Lord will give you His peace and strength.
My deepest sympathy

Mr. Nuxoll was one of the single greatest teachers I ever had. After 12 years of education math still made little sense to me. It wasn't until I had Mr. Nuxoll as a teacher that I was finally able to fully comprehend mathematics. He was the only teacher who took the time & was able to help me understand, opening up an new world of opportunities for me. I will always think of him fondly and be forever grateful for his ability to teach.
I am so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to all of your family. I had the pleasure and honor of having Mr. Nuxoll as a teacher and coach. He excelled in motivating us, teaching us how to care for each other and to always do things with joy. Having read of his upbringing and achievements, it's clear to me you raised a loving and ambitious son. RIP Mr. Nuxoll and thanks for all the great memories.

Dear Nuxoll family: For the past 24 years I shared the scorers table at the Ford Idaho Center with Ron and the others who worked the girls 5A Tournament and the Girls State Of Idaho Championship games, as the announcer. I found Ron to be an enjoyable guy and very professional and knowledgeable in his ability to either keep the official book or run the scoreboard. He will be greatly missed by the athletic community in the state of Idaho. My prayers are with all of you. Regards, Russ Steiner

Ron was an incredible friend while we were in college together. We lived in the same dormitory and were both working on our math secondary education majors together. We shared a love of sports (football, basketball, softball, it didn't matter). We stayed in touch after school when he started teaching in the Caldwell district and I started in the Fruitland district. We both wound up coaching basketball (luckily never against one another). I had the good fortune of touching base with Ron on a regular basis for around 40 years. There was no more genuine person in this world. I will miss his fantastic humor and his megawatt smile. Rest in peace Ron.
