Obituary of Wanita Fitzmorris

Myrna “Wanita” Fitzmorris passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. She was born April 8, 1933 to “TC” Thomas Corwin Drum & Leona “Dabby” Evans, in   Beaver, Oklahoma. Years later the family moved to Homedale, ID where she went through school and then met and married Eugene “Max” Orr. To this marriage a daughter, Wathena Orr (Bond) was born. This marriage ended in divorce and years later she married Willard “Bud” Fitzmorris, who passed away 30 years ago. Wanita was really involved in her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi and her church, First Christian Church of Nampa.

Wanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; brother, Dorwin Drum; brothers-in-law, Forrest “Poke” Henson and Ron Pollock and a nephew,   Virgil Henson. She is survived by her daughter, Wathena; grandsons, Uriah (Shannon and Avery) Bond, C.J. (Maizee & Dallas) Bond, Bradly (Cassey, Colton and Baighley) Bond; sisters, Wasalea Henson and Wenona Pollock and several   nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell, ID on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 9:30 AM. Pastor Steve Perotti will officiate. There will be a brunch following services at the First Christian Church of Nampa.
