Obituary of Maria Monreal Morales

Maria Monreal Morales (Cuca), 76, of Homedale, ID, died May 1, 2019 of heart complications and is now rejoicing in heaven.

Maria was born to Ruben and Ramona Monreal on December 9, 1942. She grew up in Jalisco, Mexico along with twelve siblings. It was in Jalisco she met the love of her life, Salvador Morales and the wed.

While maintaining a residence in Jalisco, Mexico, they moved to Idaho in search of more opportunities for their growing family.

Maria was a devoted mother and always loved having all of her family around. When you visited her home, she ensured you were always fed with her amazing food. She made everyone who walked through her door feel like family. She would love to go shopping and find bargains. She loved to knit, crochet and playing cards with her family. Loteria was her favorite.

Maria is preceded in death by  her father, Ruben Monreal; Husband, Salvador Morales; brother, Alberto Monreal; grandsons, Manual Jr. Navarrete and Ernesto Cuellarr.

Maria is survived by her mother, Ramona Monreal; children, Jesus, Angelica, Dora, Luisa, Rosa, Lupe, Veronica, Leo, Salvador Jr., Laura, and Bernardo; and many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11am at Mountain View Nazarene Church, 26515 Ustick Rd, Wilder, ID. Viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Marsing Homedale Cemetery.
