Margie was such a dear soul. She was a hard working and very capable Engineer; always willing to offer help without hesitation or complaint. She was so pleasant. Such a bright and cheery person to be around!

I would like to share with you a few thoughts and memories of a precious niece that Robert and I were so blessed to have known. I was her first grade teacher in Adrian, Oregon, 1960. She did very well calling me Mrs. Maggard, and not Aunt Juanita. When I think of her it's like a bright light turned on in a dark room. Immediately the atmosphere is filled with her presence and an air of expectancy of what is going to happen. We all loved gathering at grandma and grandpa Parrills' for dinners, or family reunions and later in the day, The younger children would gather around Margie, usually in the hallway between the living room and bedrooms to listen to a ghost story. They would huddle close together listening to the story as it would grow more intense until she would burst out! "And there he is right behind you!!!! An explosion of children burst in every direction running to the safety of their parents. They always came back again for another story. So many wonderful memories! So many wonderful meals! We have enjoyed delicious cookouts at her home with hamburgers or spaghetti with her outstanding homemade sauce! She always offered a comfortable bed for weary travelers like the Maggards' who made several trips between Idaho and Missouri. I have a copy of her powerful testimony she wrote for our wonderful savior Jesus Christ and what he has done for her. I encourage everyone to read it if you possibly can for Jesus is Coming Soon! We are looking forward to a Big Reunion in Heaven with all our friends and loved ones! My family and I loved you so dearly and will miss you! Love and Prayers to all the family, Juanita, Brent and Cathy, Dave and Sondra, Darla and Kent, Anita and Rick, and all their families.
