Obituary of Jose Martin Lopez
José Martín López (49) de Caldwell, Idaho, falleció el 14 de febrero de 2019 luego de perder su batalla contra el cáncer cerebral. José nació en Calvillo, Aguascalientes, México, el 17 de septiembre de 1969.
José dejo su ciudad natal de Calvillo, México, a la edad de 19 años y llegó a este país con la visión de tener el sueño americano. California fue su primer destino. Allí comenzó a trabajar. California también fue donde conoció y se casó con el amor de su vida Rosa Chávez-López. Más tarde tuvieron dos hijos, Luis Fernando López y José López. Se fueron de California a Sparks, Nevada, donde más tarde decidieron mudarse y establecerse en Caldwell, Idaho. Era un muy buen marido y un gran padre. Siempre muy cariñoso con sus hijos y también con sus dos nietos, Isabel e Israel, a quien adoraba. También le encantaba tener perros. Los dos que más amaba eran un pastor alemán llamado Muneca y su perro actual llamado Rex.
Era un hombre muy alegre, amable y considerado. Le gustaba ayudar de cualquier manera que pudiera. Vivió una vida feliz, pero le daba tristeza cuando pensava en su madre fallecida, lo que le causaba un gran dolor. Su manera de aliviar su dolor fue a través de la música. Amaba escuchar la música. Era un hombre muy devoto de su familia y un gran trabajador que se enorgullecía de lo que hacía. Se ganó el aprecio de sus compañeros de trabajo y las personas que lo conocieron. Esa fue su vida, feliz, hasta el año pasado cuando comenzó a enfermarse. Los doctores detectaron un tumor en su cabeza. Era algo que lo deprimía mucho, pero seguía luchando por el bien de su familia. A pesar de que luchó para combatir la enfermedad y se sometió a todo tipo de tratamientos, fue algo que no pudo superar.
Nos dejó físicamente, pero en espíritu siempre estará con nosotros.

Jose Martin Lopez (49) of Caldwell, Idaho passed away February 14th of 2019 after losing his battle to brain cancer. Jose was born in Calvillo, Aguascalientes, Mexico on September 17th of 1969.
Jose left his hometown of Calvillo, Mexico at the age of 19 and came to this country with the vision of having the American dream. Jose’s first destination was California to pursue work. While in California, Jose met and married the love of his life Rosa Chavez-Lopez and started a family by later having two sons, Luis Fernando Lopez and Jose Lopez. They moved from California to Sparks, Nevada temporarily before deciding to relocate and settle in Caldwell, Idaho. He was a good husband and a great father. Always very loving towards his children and his two grandchildren, Isabel and Israel. Jose also adored his previous pet Muneca and the family’s current pet, Rex.
Jose could be described as a loving, cheerful, friendly, and thoughtful man. He liked to help in any way he could. He lived a happy life, but he often thought of his deceased mother, which caused him great pain. His escape from that pain was through the medium of music. He loved to listen to music. He was a man who was very devoted to his family and was a hard worker who took pride in what he did. He earned the appreciation of his fellow workers and the people who knew him. That was his life, happy, until last year when he began to get sick. A tumor was detected in his head. It was something that depressed him a lot but he kept on fighting for the sake of his family. Even though he struggled to fight the disease and submitted to all kinds of treatments, it was something he could not overcome.
Although Jose has left us physically, he remains alive through his spirit that will always be with us.
