Obituary of Ruven Gracia

  Ruven Gracia passed away Monday, January 21, 2019.  He was born in Caldwell, Idaho to Elida and Juan Gracia, where he spent all his life.  He is survived by 5 brothers:  Jr. (Lisa), Chico (Noelia), John, Benjamin, and Rudy Gracia; 3 sisters:  Delores, Diana and Joanna; numerous nieces and nephews; wife, Lou Ann Knie and children James Knie and Bonnie Cantrell.

  Ruven loved his job with the U.S. Forest Service in the Nez Perce National Forest as a firefighter.  He did lookout duty and supervised crews.  Ruven loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.  He was always willing to help anyone out anyway he could.  He was a strong member of the community and dedicated to the Catholic church.  He will be missed, but never forgotten.

  A viewing will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.  A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am also at Flahiffs.
