Obituary of Crystal Dawn Cole

  After diligently fighting a rare blood disease for many months, beloved wife and mother, Crystal Dawn Ashby Cole returned to her Heavenly Home the evening of Thursday, November 15, 2018. Born as a treasure to her parents on May 18, 1955 in Caldwell Idaho, she would light the world for all who knew her with her gentleness and humility. She loves the Savior Jesus Christ and emulated him all through her life. Her greatest passion in life was her family. She loved letting them know how much she loves them. She would do so in infinitely heartfelt ways ranging from preparing simple items into a wonderful feast, planning exciting activities for grandchildren on summer vacations, and listening to her children sing and play music whom she considered to be her musical voice. Few worldly things mattered to Crystal. She loved plants, gardening, the beauties of nature, and anything that is good. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends until that time they can be reunited.

  She is survived by her loving husband David Earl Cole of Middleton, her children Dave (& Cherice) Cole of Caldwell, Adam (& Alicia) Cole of Middleton, Jon (and Andrea) of Caldwell, Dawnessa (and Robert) Youngberg of Nampa, Casandra Cole of Caldwell, and her 20 grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints [1332 Cornell Street] in Middleton.  Viewing will precede the services at the church from 9-11 AM.  Burial will follow at Middleton Cemetery.
