Obituary of Mary Margreat Wangsgard

  Mary Margaret (Park) Wangsgard, 69, of Middleton, passed away on August 2, 2018. She was the third child of Frederick and Ethie (Fox) Park.

  Mary was born in Nampa, Idaho, and she was raised in Notus, Idaho (Dixie Community). She went to school in Notus and graduated in 1968. After graduating from high school, Mary went on to nursing school to become an LPN.

  She liked being a nurse, and worked at the Caldwell Hospital for many years before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah where she worked at the University of Utah Hospital. She later worked at several different retirement centers.

  She moved back home to Idaho in 2002. She worked at Jacksons food store and later at Walmart in Caldwell where she made many friends.

  Mary married Delbert Wangsgard in April 1972 but later divorced.

  She is survived by her brother-in-law Merle Laeger; 3 nieces; 5 nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her fur babies, Kasper Jack and Blackie. Also, her best friend Lois.

  Mary was proceeded in death by her parents; her sister, Doris Laeger; and brother, Clyde Park.

  Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, (208)459-0833. A private family inurnment will take place at Canyon Hill Cemetery at later date.
