Obituary of Carolyn M. Brewer

Carolyn M. (Barker) Brewer passed away Sunday morning, July 22, 2018. She was born on December 30, 1940 in Nyssa, Oregon to Ernest and Eunice Barker. She graduated from Ontario High School in 1959. She married Clayton Ray Brewer on April 8, 1960 in Nyssa, Oregon. All their married life they were active in pastoring and home mission work for the Bible Missionary Church. Carolyn was a faithful wife, and loving mother and grandmother. She was industrious and creative, and delighted in helping others.

She is survived by: daughter Charlene (Brad) Henshaw of Fruitland, Idaho; son Steve (JoAnne) Cody and Clayton Brewer of Madras, Oregon; daughter, Sherry (James), Jana and James; son Dan (Danisha) Brewer of Riverton, Wyoming; sister Helen Seward of Parma, Idaho; brothers, Eldon Barker of Madras, Oregon, Robert Barker of Grand Junction, Colorado, Ralph Barker of Fruitland, Idaho, Ron Barker of Fruitland, Idaho, Don Barker of Fruitland, Idaho, Tom Barker of Estacada, Oregon.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Eunice Barker; husband Ray Brewer; infant son Jonathan; brothers Gerald, Bill, Jimmy Dale, and sister Ruth Elaine.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Services will be held at 12:30 PM the Nyssa Bible Missionary Church. Viewing there will be one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services in Parma.
